Honey Bee Retiring Stamp Set

Honey Bee Stamp Set

This is such a fun card made with this stamp set. Love the bright colors.

This is a fun-fold card that I got in a card swap. It uses both the Honey Bee stamps and the Detailed Bee Dies, which are both retiring soon, such a bummer, cause they are so cute! Here's a look at the stamps and dies.

One great thing about these stamps, is that they are beautiful just stamped in black ink or you can add color to the black stamped image with markers or watercolor pencils, and they look gorgeous too. Then you can use the dies to cut out the images, so that you can layer them on a card. The dies also come with the cute honeycomb die, that cuts out a cute background piece.

This card has a fun flap that tucks under the cute little bees wings to hold it closed.

I love that this card uses both the dies to cut the big bee out of colored cardstock, and also uses the dies to cut out a stamped image of the big bee.

Such a fun card!

I hope you enjoyed this beautiful card, and take a moment to check out all of the great deals and sale prices on some of the last-chance retiring products with the link above.

This cute stamp set has this matching punch, so you can stamp the elephants and then punch them out, or you can just use colored cardstock to punch these cute elephants out and layer them on a card. These cute elephants can hold the balloons, the umbrella, or the flowers with their trunks. The ear is punched out separately, so you can layer it on top of the elephant. The Elephant Builder Punch is retiring and also on sale 40% OFF, making it only $10.80 for the punch. Get them before they are gone!! They are only while supplies last or until June 2, 2020.

This was a fun card to make. I used the Little Elephants stamps and the Elephant Builder Punch.
This card flips out two ways. First to the right.

Then, the other flap, flips out to the left.

The little heart on the bottom left side, holds the card closed, by tucking the corner of the flip under the right edge of the heart. This is just a small card, that opens to the right, that is glued onto the center of the card base.  Then there is a flap on the left that closes first. I also used the Stitched Be Mine dies for the hearts on the front of the card. The Be Mine Stitched dies are also retiring, I'm sad to see them go, they work so well for so many projects. I hope you enjoyed seeing this fun card.

This Little Piggy Retiring Stamp Set

This Little Piggy Stamp Set

Ok, why would something so cute ever retire??? Yes, we are always excited to see the fun, new, and exciting stamps sets that Stampin' Up! will have out soon, but still,  do we have to say goodbye to this stamp set?? This stamp set was a hit the moment it came out in the catalog. It's been so popular, I thought this one would make it another round in to the new catalog. I was wrong though, so here's saying goodbye. I have several cards to show you, here is the first one I made.

Isn't this piggy just adorable? Dang. So, this card is a very simple card to make. I used Whisper White cardstock for the base. Layered the Crumb Cake cardstock on and then the Lemon-Lime Twist green cardstock on top, after running the green cardstock thru an embossing folder to get the cute dots and tying the ribbon around the green cardstock first. Then a layer of black cardstock. I stamped the happy piggy on to the white cardstock and colored with Petal Pink Stampin" Blends Markers. The Stampin Blends work so well for stamp sets like this one, but you could also use the watercolor pencils or the Stampin Write regular markers for this. And, don't forget the rhinestone I put in the center of the flower, for an added touch.

Are you ready for some more samples? Here's some more cards to get your creative juices flowing. Some of these cards, I made at fun events I've gone to, and some are from friends or card swaps I've done.

In the card above, the pink piggy is just stamped and then fussy cut out by hand. So cute!

For the next card, the clouds were made using the White Embossing Paste, with the Pattern Party Decorative Mask. These decorative masks are retiring as well. Just lay the mask on top of your cardstock and spread the paste using a palette knife, remove the mask and let the paste dry. Then, fussy cut a piggy out by hand and color, and layer on top.

The Pink card below, uses the Layering Squares dies, to make the scalloped square.

The cute blue card below, uses the Stitched Shapes dies, for the ovals. The piggy, and the background, are colored with the Stampin Blends and then the piggy is painted with Champagne Shimmer Paint.

This last card, is a half-fold card. It uses the beautiful subtles 6x6 DSP paper pad, which, of course, is also retiring. Then it uses two different dies, the Layering Circles dies, for the largest circle, and the Stitched Shapes dies, for the circle with the piggy stamped on it. There is also a Pearlized Doily, layered between the two circles. And, you guessed it, the doilies are also retiring. And, then don't forget to add the rhinestones.

So many things are retiring, and they are only available while supplies last, so take a moment to check them out, and see which ones are discounted and which ones you hate to see go.

Above the Clouds Retiring Stamp Set

Card ideas with Above the Clouds Stamp Set

It's day two of my posts on retiring Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets. Today's featured set is the Above the Clouds stamp set. It's such a fun set, it can be used with a multitude of word sets and for many different occasions. I love this first card, and I had a lot of fun making it.

I textured the background with the Subtle embossing folder and sponged ink on it with a dauber.
Then I stamped the balloons on white card stock, and punched two of them out with the coordinating Hot Air Balloon punch, which is also retiring, and the third balloon I used the Stitched Nested Labels dies. Then, I layered them on the card and added the flag cut sentiment and some embellishments.
This is such a great stamp set, especially with the punch too.

The next card, I got from a friend. She used the balloon stamp and the Hot Air Balloon Punch, and layered it on top of two die cuts from the Stitched Nested Label dies. She used the Pretty Labels Punch to make the clouds and the white label for the sentiment.

The card below, is such a simple but cute card. It uses the stamps and a pearlized doily behind the stamped and punched balloon. A quick and easy card to make.

The next two cards, I made for a class, and gave my customers the option of which colors they wanted to use. The first card, uses Flirty Flamingo pink and Granny Apple green cardstock balloons. The second card, uses Daffodil Delight yellow and Gorgeous Grape cardstock. I also used the Pretty Labels Punch to make the clouds. Such pretty cards!

Don't miss out on these cute stamps, they are retiring on June 2,2020 or as supplies last! Here's a fun image of how each of the stamped images look after stamping them.

Bonanza Buddies Bundle Retiring Set

Bonanza Buddies Cards and Ideas

I will miss these cute little guys when this retires! These are available while supplies last or until June 2, 2020. This was one of my favorite sets, they're so cute.
Here is a fun fold card I made with the Bonanza Buddies Stamps and Dies Bundle. It has a flip up tag on the front of card, as well as opening from the bottom, so you can write a nice note inside the card.

This card was made with the Bonanza Buddies stamps and dies, as well as the DSP designer Paper.

This is the Birthday Bonanza DSP paper that is also retiring.

Here are some other beautiful cards I got from a card swap with other fellow demonstrators.
